Exhibit at Art in Bloom

The upperclassmen of Chesterton Academy were honored to be invited to participate in this year’s Art in Bloom festival.

Their Art Exhibit featured twelve oil painting grisaille studies created by our 11th and 12th grade students, highlighting the beauty and discipline of classical artistic training through careful study of light, shadow, and form.

If there was a theme to the exhibit, it could be summed up in the words of G. K. Chesterton:
“Art is the signature of man.”

We are grateful for the opportunity to display the work of our students and proud of the creativity and craftsmanship they shared with our wider community.
